OnePlus Band Review: After a long wait, OnePlus has finally launched the company's first smart wearable. Called the OnePlus Band, this new wearable OnePlus Watch was launched a long time ago. The device is an affordable product that comes with competitive specs and a design that feels slightly above the bracket that the company has put into the product.
The fitness tracker has been launched in India previously and is expected to soon make its way into other markets as well. Interestingly, the OnePlus brand has been launched in India as Amazon Exclusive, with the company listing the device on the platform at a price of Rs 2,499.
The device has been launched by OnePlus as a smart tracker that can keep up with an active lifestyle The fitness tracker comes with a detachable main unit that can be mounted on dual-color strap combos.
OnePlus Band: Features
The OnePlus Band comes with a 1.1-inch AMOLED color display, which promises deep diversity and good shine with the OnePlus band ensuring good clarity even under direct sunlight.
OnePlus Band offers a ton of clock face and personalization opportunities through the OnePlus fitness app. OnePlus band has been claimed to give 14 days of battery life on one charge. It will also come with 13 exercise modes. Apart from this, it also guarantees seamless connectivity with the OnePlus Fitness app, which can be download within the Google Play Store.
Sustained exercise modes include outdoor runs, indoor tracks, fat burn runs, outdoor tracks, out-door cycling, indoor cycling, incomplete trainers, rowing machines, cricket, badminton, pool swimming, yoga, and free exercise.
The OnePlus band comes with other sensors including a blood oxygen fullness (SpO2) monitor. The blood oxygen sensor on the OnePlus band shines infrared light onto the user's covering to determine the level of SpO2 by a change in blood color.
This can be done on-demand check or done continuously even while sleeping. The OnePlus band also provides real-time heart rate monitoring. OnePlus Band notifies users of irregular readings, with individual heart rate alerts. Additionally, the OnePlus Band 5 certifies for ATM and IP68 resistance to dust and water, and sweat.
